Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support speech therapy services primarily for elementary-aged students, PreK through 4th grade, with occasional cases across the district. This full-time, on-site contract role is ideal for professionals with experience in educational settings who are licensed in California. This position is based in a dynamic elementary school environment in Palmer, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary school students.
• Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and educational staff to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies as needed.
• Monitor and document student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in team meetings to support student communication goals.

Qualifications:

• Valid California SLPA license is required.
• Experience working in professional school settings.
• Familiarity with AAC tools and techniques preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and adapt to diverse student needs.
