We are looking for a Salesforce and MuleSoft Architect – a technical expert – who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrated solutions between Salesforce and other systems using MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform) . This role requires deep knowledge of both (Salesforce and MuleSoft) platforms, enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and business processes. Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in implementing solutions and integrations using both Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms. The (Salesforce and MuleSoft) Architect will lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions between Salesforce and our other enterprise (internal and external) systems. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and IT teams to ensure seamless data flow, automation, and customer experience across platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Salesforce.
• Evaluates current architecture and provides recommendations for future enhancements by defining integration patterns, architecture standards, and best practices required.
• Define and document integration flows, data mappings, and API contracts.
• Leads the development and deployment of APIs and Mule applications.
• Guides Salesforce customizations, data models, and automation to support integration.
• Ensures performance, scalability, and reliability of integration solutions.
• Collaborates with business analysts, Salesforce developers, and backend teams.
• Leads architectural reviews, technical workshops, prepares training documents and conducts code reviews.
• Provides guidance and mentorship to MuleSoft integration and Salesforce development teams.
• Enforces API governance and security best practices.
• Ensures compliance with enterprise data and integration standards.
• Monitors and troubleshoot integration and data synchronization issues.
• Integrates data from mainframe (DB2/VSAM) to Salesforce Data using MuleSoft.

Technical Skills

• MuleSoft - Must Possess MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or Platform Architect
• Salesforce – Must possess either Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect
• Salesforce – Must possess Salesforce Data Architect certification or a Database Administrator certification
• Salesforce – Must possess Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II and Salesforce OmniStudio Developer
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture using Salesforce and Mulesoft.
• 3+ years specifically with MuleSoft and Salesforce.
• Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform , including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Flow Designer.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce Platform , including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Apex, and Lightning Components (LWC).
• Experience with API-led connectivity , REST/SOAP APIs, and microservices architecture.
• 7+ years of experience performing data integration or exposing IBM mainframe data to SaaS, PaaS, or client-server applications for OLTP and batch purposes.
• 5+ years of experience within the last ten (10) years developing and optimizing ETL processes using tools for enterprise data integration in the public sector; preferred to have migrated 1 billion records to Salesforce platform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools , DevOps practices, and integration testing.
• Proficiency with data formats (JSON, XML), message brokers (e.g., Kafka), and database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and stakeholder management.
• As an architect possesses ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence architectural decisions.
• Must have worked with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools like Micro Focus ALM/Quality Center, Jira, Helix ALM (by Perforce) etc.
• Experience designing and developing applications using COBOL, CICS, and JCL would be a plus
