An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in K-12 education. This full-semester contract position in Vallejo, CA, is designed for professionals who are eager to make a significant impact on the lives of students with speech and language impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders among middle school students.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of up to 55 students, focusing on enhancing communication skills.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to each student's education.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid California state licensure and professional certification.
• Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and staff.

• Vallejo, CA (Itinerant role serving middle school settings).
