This role involves overseeing and leading the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) process for large-scale projects. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining BIM models, performing clash detection, producing visualizations, and implementing VDC technology initiatives. What You'll Do Lead the VDC process using software such as Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp. Create and maintain BIM models. Perform clash detection and coordination. Produce 3D visualizations and animations. Implement VDC technology initiatives like laser scanning, drones, VR. Support VDC software and hardware systems. Ensure quality and accuracy of models and deliverables. Communicate with stakeholders to understand needs. Mentor junior VDC specialists. What You'll Need Associate’s degree or certificate in CAD, BIM, VDC, or related field + 6 years relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related + 4 years relevant experience, or 8 years relevant experience in lieu of formal education. What You'll Bring Knowledge of VDC concepts like LOD, clash detection, coordination. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape. Experience with laser scanning, drones, VR. Leadership skills for large-scale VDC projects. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and quality.
