Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating skid steer machinery and performing various tasks related to construction and landscaping projects. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate skid steer machinery safely and efficiently on various job sites.
• Perform grading operations and assist in site preparation for construction projects.
• Operate additional heavy equipment such as bulldozers, dump trucks, and graders as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery.
• Assist in horizontal drilling tasks and paving operations when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with skid steers and grading.
• Knowledge of how to use a level laser and read grade stakes.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to horizontal drilling and paving operations.
