Craftsmen Contractors is looking to hire a Commercial Electrician for the Marrero, La. area. This is for a commercial project working day shifts from Monday thru Friday at a school. Weekly pay by direct deposit. Job consists of hanging light fixtures in classrooms.

Electrician starting pay rate: $24 - $25/hour depending on experience.

No per diem is offered.

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair electrical equipment and light fixtures
• Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a Commercial Electrician
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Electricians must be able to read drawings and blueprints
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Will need to have basic hand tools, ALL PPE and reliable transportation.
• Ability to bend conduit.
• Will need to have own electrical hand tools, all PPE and reliable transportation to get to the job site.
• Electricians must have at least 2 years of experience
