Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Body Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our automotive collision repair center. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of automotive collision repair services. This role is essential in ensuring that our shop runs smoothly, providing exceptional service to our customers while managing a team of skilled technicians.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
• Oversee scheduling and workflow to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, inventory levels, and sales transactions.
• Implement marketing strategies to promote services and drive sales, including upselling opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Skills

• Proficient in auto collision repair estimating and collision related mechanical repairs.
• Experience with oil changes, tire service, shocks struts, and suspension systems.
• Knowledgeable in air brake systems and general automotive repair techniques.
• Strong background in automotive sales with the ability to upsell services effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and staff.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
