YAIL Live Instructor

Type: Part-Time (Flexible Schedule)
Location: Remote / Teach from Home
Group Size: 6–8 students per class

Who We’re Looking For

• Teachers experienced in teaching via Zoom (minimum 1 year preferred)

• Comfortable managing small group classes (6–8 students) while keeping energy high

• Skilled in using online teaching tools and apps (Nearpod, Kahoot, Quizizz, Jamboard, Blooket, ChessKid, etc.)

• Able to create engaging lessons that make learning fun and deliver measurable results

• Positive, reliable, and great at connecting with kids and parents

• Open to presenting original class ideas during the interview (academic, creative, or skill-based)

Possible Class Subjects

We welcome teachers who can teach or propose classes in areas such as:

• Math Enrichment & Problem Solving

• Reading Comprehension & Vocabulary

• Creative or Essay Writing

• STEM Challenges & Science Explorations

• Public Speaking & Debate

• Art, Drawing, or Digital Design

• Coding (Scratch, Roblox Studio, Minecraft Education)

• Chess, Brain Games, or Logic Puzzles

• Study Skills & Executive Functioning

Schedule & Pay

• You choose the days and times you’d like to teach.

• Classes typically meet once or twice per week for 1 hour.

• Pay is competitive and based on experience and class type (average $25–$40/hour).

• Long-term positions and bonus opportunities available for consistent performance and strong parent feedback.
