Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Clerk to support warehouse operations in our food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately handling inventory, processing shipments, and maintaining an organized and compliant warehouse environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth production and delivery process while adhering to food safety standards.

Essential Duties:

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments of raw materials and supplies.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments of finished products.
• Maintain inventory records, ensuring accuracy through regular counts and audits.
• Label, store, and organize materials and products according to food safety regulations and FIFO (First In, First Out) guidelines.
• Assist in tracking stock levels and reporting low inventory to supervisors.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and workplace safety standards (HACCP, GMP, etc.).
• Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Assist with documentation, including shipping manifests, receiving logs, and inventory adjustments.
• Identify and report damaged or expired inventory to the warehouse supervisor.
• Follows all safety regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in a warehouse or inventory role, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) is preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift certification is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working in temperature-controlled warehouse environments (cold or dry storage)
