A Path of Care Hospice is a partnership of home health, hospice, and private home services agencies. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
A Volunteer Coordinator will develop and maintain volunteer training and orientation programs. Recruits and educates volunteer candidates from at least three recruitment sessions a year. Supervise and evaluate volunteers in a timely and appropriate manner. Maintains quarterly metrics. Re-evaluate volunteer program as necessary. Coordinate support/education meeting. Attends interdisciplinary group meetings. Provides information to individuals and community groups about hospice volunteer service. Actively participate in quality assessment performance improvement. Accepts and performs other related duties and responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Can you adapt to changing circumstances? Do you enjoy coaching and mentoring others? Do you have respect for and patience with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people? Do you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills? Are you creative and able to think critically? Do you conduct yourself with integrity and take initiative? This part-time Volunteer Coordinator. Monday - Friday 8a.m. to 5p.m.
