We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Truck Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the trucking industry, excellent communication and management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule truck shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Communicate with drivers and customers to provide updates and resolve issues.
Monitor and track shipments using dispatch software.
Maintain accurate records of shipments and driver information.
Optimize routes and loads to maximize efficiency.
Negotiate rates with carriers.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of dispatch experience.
Proficiency in dispatch software such as Highway, Trucker Tools, and DAT.
Strong knowledge of DOT and carrier insurance regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
