Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and implementing individualized care plans for patients experiencing mental health challenges. Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with other healthcare professionals will be vital in ensuring the best patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document all patient care provided and monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to appropriate parties, including care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and elimination.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfers, discharges, referrals, and addressing spiritual and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate and identify the learning needs of patients and families, providing appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RN license to practice in [State].
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
