• Location: Boston, MA 02215 (Massachusetts nursing jobs)\n
• Assignment Type: Travel RN\n
• Unit: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) – East\n
• Start Date: December 8, 2025\n
• End Date: March 16, 2026\n
• Duration: 14-week contract\n
• Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed, excluding on-call)\n
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (start times between 8:00 AM and 12:30 AM)\n
• On-Call: One night on-call shift per week (11:00 PM – 8:00 AM, minimum 2 hours if called in)\n
• Patient Ratio: 2:1, following ASPAN guidelines\n
• EMR System: Epic\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2150 - $2300\n

\n\nPACU RN Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU experience (post-anesthesia care)\n
• Prior travel nursing experience required\n
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)\n
• PALS or ENPC certification (equivalency accepted)\n
• Flu vaccine required prior to start\n
• Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months if previously employed (perm, per diem, or travel)\n
• No local candidates considered for this Boston healthcare job\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from OR, IR, and GI procedures\n
• Monitor and assess patient status, responding promptly to changes in condition\n
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered\n
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled\n
• Adhere to ASPAN guidelines and hospital protocols\n
