Job Title: Medical Assistant - Medical Assistant Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Seattle, WA (onsite) Contract Duration: 13 weeks Work Hours: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00) Total Weekly Hours: 40 PLEASE READ THE SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS to ensure a quick turnaround time! - Open to local AND non-local candidates. - Only accepting MA-C candidates. MA-R and MA-P will be redirected. Dermatology Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) - Seattle, WA (4100 SW Alaska St, Suite B, Seattle, WA 98116) Occasionally will float to the other Dermatology Group offices in First Hill, Issaquah, and Bellevue - Schedule: 5x8hr, 0830-1700 (Mon-Fri, no weekends) - Experience: At least 6 months of Adult Outpatient Clinic setting is preferred, pulmonary experience is preferred. - First-timers accepted: Yes - Weekend REQ: No - Is on-call REQ? No - Professional Knowledge and Skills REQ: Vital Signs: Obtain vital signs Prepare for Exam: Record history/medications/allergies Set Up and Assist with Procedures: Biopsy, Dressing change, Set up aseptic/sterile procedure trays Specimen Collection: Labeling of specimens, Wound Office Duties: Authorization Forms, Chart preparation, Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, Scheduling patient appointments Professional Knowledge and Skills: Aseptic technique, Suture removal - Will this traveler need to float between like units? Yes, as needed within skillset between sister clinic locations (see above) - Locals accepted: Yes, considered local within 50-mile radius of clinic - RTO Accepted: Yes, must be presented upon submission. - Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off traveler UP TO 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks) Special Notes - Candidate is expected to have reliable transportation and no additional scheduling restrictions. All travel pairs will be required to have their own transportation. - Candidate will be required to perform Suture removal, Sterile procedure set up/assisting (ex: ED&C), Punch biopsy, Shave biopsy Clinic Highlights Type of Facility: Dermatology Clinic Scrub Color: Any color Charting: EPIC (experience is REQUIRED) JOB TITLE TAGS DEFINITIONS: Temp to Perm (LOCALS ONLY) The job is strictly for local candidates within a 50-mile radius. No travelers accepted. Temp-to-perm is a required expectation. 50-mile radius rule applies. Temp to Perm (LOCAL TRAVEL) Open to locals and local travelers just outside the 50-mile radius. True travelers are not eligible. Conversion to perm is expected. LOCALS ONLY The role prefers local candidates, with a strong focus on eventual perm placement. Temp-to-perm is not mandatory but is the ideal outcome. 50-mile rule applies. LOCAL TRAVEL The job accepts local candidates, local travelers, and true travelers.
