About the Role The Strategic Account Director is responsible for achieving company objectives for sales, distribution, and execution in Costco for TWE. The primary focus will be developing sales strategies, programming, and growing market share. The Director will collaborate closely with TWE state Commercial teams and Distributor partners to strengthen brand programming and execute sales strategies effectively. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Account Management Establish collaborative planning content and cadence with the customer. Facilitate the development of sales execution strategies with this key customer. Develop marketing plans that allocate resources to increase market share, distribution, volume, and profitability. Agree on KPIs with TWE stakeholders and external Distributor stakeholders. Communicate account information clearly to TWE brand teams, trade marketing, finance, and regional sales teams, including: Annual growth targets Program commitments New listing priorities and deadlines Program planning deadlines Compliance issues Distribution opportunities Work effectively through the national Distributor network to ensure execution of national account programs at the market level. Monitor and control program compliance at the state level regarding distribution and pricing. Identify underperforming divisions and reallocate resources accordingly. Manage within the approved annual budgets. Deliver volume and gross profit targets, adjusting spends based on results. Leadership & Teamwork Influence and collaborate with TWE Commercial teams to ensure Distributor Partners execute programs effectively. Communication Engage with key stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, Commercial Strategy, and Supply. Create clear communication and expectations for distributor partners regarding programs and deliverables. Business Acumen Achieve volume, gross profit, and portfolio mix objectives within plan/budget. Assess and adjust investment levels based on results. Manage budgets effectively and work with divisions to optimize pricing programs. About You Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 7+ years of sales experience, preferably with Costco and in the Adult Beverage category. Experience in P&L and budget management. Exceptional presentation skills, with experience presenting to VP and C-level executives. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple customers and deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to operate under stress in a multi-tasking environment. Logical problem-solving, analytical thinking, and strategic skills. Proactive and takes initiative in a dynamic environment. Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing). Professional demeanor with excellent communication and influencing skills.
