Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead the charge across Cayosoft and Petri.com’s social media channels. This is a rare opportunity to craft and elevate the voices of two respected brands, turning technical expertise into dynamic, relatable content that drives engagement and builds loyal online communities.

The right candidate will be part storyteller, part strategist—someone who can create meaningful conversations and amplify brand impact across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Design and deliver impactful social media strategies for both Cayosoft and Petri.com, keeping brand voice and engagement top of mind.
  • Partner closely with marketing, SEO, sales, product, and customer success teams to align messaging and fuel go-to-market campaigns.
  • Seamlessly integrate fresh content—blogs, events, whitepapers, media features—into social storytelling.
  • Launch and optimize paid social campaigns to generate leads and boost brand visibility; run A/B tests to refine and enhance performance.
  • Focus on creating two-way conversations, not just broadcasts, to foster genuine engagement.
  • Content Creation & Campaign Management
  • Create and curate compelling content that captures attention and resonates with each audience.
  • Own and maintain a well-organized social media content calendar to ensure consistent, timely delivery.
  • Repurpose blog and long-form content into engaging, social-friendly posts.
  • Drive end-to-end social campaigns showcasing products, industry insights, and tech trends.
  • Edit and produce short-form videos using CapCut or similar tools to enhance social content.
  • Tailor content for maximum engagement, lead gen, and brand awareness.

Community Engagement & Risk Management

  • Cultivate relationships with key influencers, industry voices, and brand advocates.
  • Engage actively in online discussions, forums, and communities to establish Cayosoft and Petri.com as thought leaders.
  • Keep a pulse on breaking trends, news, and vulnerabilities—and advise leadership with smart, proactive response strategies.
  • Monitor brand sentiment, flag potential risks, and support rapid-response PR plans.
  • Foster a vibrant community atmosphere through authentic, timely interactions.

Social Media Leadership & Reporting

  • Manage publishing, listening, and reporting through tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout.
  • Deliver clear, insightful monthly reports on audience engagement and campaign performance.
  • Lead planning sessions to continuously fine-tune strategy and align social efforts with broader business goals.
  • Champion employee advocacy programs to extend brand reach through internal voices.
  • Evaluate emerging platforms (Threads, Reddit, Mastodon, Bluesky) and recommend smart engagement strategies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, ideally in tech or software industries.
  • Proven ability to spark meaningful conversations, not just post content.
  • Skilled in using social media management and analytics tools.
  • Comfortable with basic video editing and tools like CapCut.
  • Strong grasp of technical topics including IT, cloud computing, and Microsoft ecosystems.
  • Outstanding writing and communication skills with a knack for creative content repurposing.
  • Experience building influencer relationships and managing online communities.
  • Background in both B2B and content-driven social media environments is a plus.
  • Thrives in a startup or fast-paced, evolving environment.
