Machine OperatorJob Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to support manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machines in accordance with established procedures and safety standards
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
• Make machine adjustments and perform basic troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance
• Load raw materials and remove finished products as required
• Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of equipment
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation
• Communicate equipment issues or production delays to supervision
• Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety rules, and quality standards
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in glass, automotive, or industrial manufacturing
• Forklift or material handling experience
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices

Work Environment

• Industrial manufacturing setting
• Exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Versailles, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
