Service Account Manager

Title: Service Account Manager

Location: Greenville, NC

Position Overview
The Service Account Manager is responsible for managing customer relationships and ensuring the successful delivery of services related to manufacturing and engineering products. This role focuses on understanding client needs, providing exceptional customer service, and driving the achievement of company goals in the B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the manufacturing, engineering, and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and service requests, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that customer requirements are met, and services are delivered efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and upselling of additional products or services to clients.
  • Conduct regular reviews of service performance with clients and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements relevant to control systems, refrigeration, and other technical areas.
  • Provide technical support and guidance related to PC/PLC systems, freeze-drying equipment, vacuum systems, and electro-mechanical systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in B2B customer service, preferably in manufacturing or engineering sectors.
  • Strong understanding of OEM processes and pharmaceutical industry standards.
  • Experience with control systems, refrigeration, and related technical fields.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other relevant software.
