PURPOSE OF POSITION The Senior Manager of Overnights is responsible for providing expectations, direction, and supervision for the Overnight Program Implementation Managers, and the Overnight PACERS. The Senior Manager of Overnights will assist the Director of PRTF Operations in the day-to-day oversight of the overnight shift. Additionally, this role will assist the training department in ensuring overnight Care Facilitators are participating in a training program, this will included weekly training curriculum, coaching, assisting with retention, and supporting staff completing 30, 60, 90 training plans with their PIMs.

Tasks are performed under the direction of the Director of PRTF Operations.Work performance is reviewed through informal supervision, formal supervision, reports, and evaluations. Incumbent to this position is a KidsTLC employee and subject to the KidsTLC personnel policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct supervision of the Overnight Program Implementation Managers, & Overnight PACERs to ensure a consistent and safe environment for clients and staff.
  • Assist the Director of PRTF Operations with the overall operation of the residential program for the overnight shift.

·         Direction and oversight of the Overnight Program Implementation Managers & Overnight PACERs responsibilities.

o   Responsible for creating and implementing the daily schedule for the overnight 10p-8a shift, ensuring that adequate staff coverage is provided for each unit to meet state requirements.

o   Ensuring compliance with all standards and regulations for continuous quality improvement.

o   Monitor and maintain high quality record keeping and professional accountabilities for the residential program.

o   Evaluate, coach, assist in ensuring the Overnight Program Managers and Overnight PACERs are creating a safe environment for clients and staff.

·         Coordination with Director of Professional Development, and Senior Director of Operations and Safety to create an ongoing training program that the Senior Manager of Overnights will be responsible for the implementation with Care Facilitators.

·         Assistance with coverage and support when Overnight PIMs are on PTO.

·         Monitoring and maintaining policies and procedures for constant and effective implementation.

·         Responsible for running and documenting all safety drills for the overnight shift. This includes running tornado, fire, and ALICE drills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position has supervisory responsibilities over the Overnight Program Implementation Managers, and Overnight PACER positions.
  • This position assists in overseeing the daily operations for the residential overnight shift (10p-8a).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Must be in a management/supervisory role at KidsTLC to be eligible for this position.
  • 1-2 years of management/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective and efficient leadership skills across the residential program.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish trust, confidence, and mutual respect.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills 
  • Able to adapt and be flexible.

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COGNITIVE DEMANDS

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of industry specific software, industry specific systems and other web-based software programs, Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
