As a Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol Driver in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the property to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting and reporting events according to Allied Universal protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including interior and perimeter areas, to observe for unusual or suspicious activity and help to deter potential issues. Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry and exit of personnel and vehicles as required by site procedures. Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, tenants, and/or visitors to address concerns, provide information, and support daily operations. Complete detailed reports and logs related to observations, incidents, and/or security-related activities during each shift. Follow all site-specific procedures and instructions provided by Allied Universal and property management. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
