Remote Prior Authorization Nurse Compensation

• The pay for this position is $38.00-$41.00 per hour, depending on experience

• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Remote Prior Authorization Nurse Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

• The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday (8 hours)

Remote Prior Authorization Nurse Responsibilities

• Reviewing authorization requests
• Utilizing evidence-based criteria and making a medically necessary determination
• Outreach calls to providers to request additional details if applicable
• No calls to members

Remote Prior Authorization Nurse Requirements

• Active RN license
• ICU, Medical Surgical background, bedside experience (Home health nurses)
• Utilization Review (Prior Authorization)
• Acute Care
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred

Remote Prior Authorization Nurse Preferred Qualifications

• Medicare experience (Utilization Management with Medicare)
• CCM Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Experience with TruCare
