Registered Nurse (RN)

Status/FTE: FT / 0.8-1.0 FTE

Shift length: 12 hours

Start Time: 0700

Unit: APSI Fluoro

Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Three (3) 12-hour shifts a week.

Required qualifications:

• Current state RN license
• Associate's degree from accredited nursing school
• BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
• ACLS within three (3) months of hire
• Experience with pain management and sedation
• One (1) year of acute care nursing experience

Preferred qualifications:

• BSN preferred

Additional Information/Department information: Provides direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Meets the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural and needs of the patient and family. Communicate effectively with all members of the health care team as appropriate about changes in the patient's condition or response to treatment. Basic PC skills. Able to work on smoke-free campus. Able to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
