Job Description

ZeroFox seeks a Regional Sales Director - Civilian Government to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers in the United States Federal government. The Regional Sales Director’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers and develop new business from existing clients. The Regional Sales Director will work collaboratively with new sales to meet revenue goals and report directly to the Vice President, Public Sector. Travel, predominantly in the National Capital region, may be required up to 20-30% of the time.Role and ResponsibilitiesSell industry-leading enterprise software and renew/grow existing ZeroFox solutions to achieve target revenueEmbody “sales discipline” and develop well-thought-out plans to rapidly develop territory and key accountsForecast, achieve, and maintain sales appointment levels, product and service sales volumes, and target margins as outlined on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisLead and facilitate sales initiativesReport on sales strategies and pipeline regularlyProvide input for sales and marketing materialsEstablish, develop, and maintain successful relationships with partner territory sales and account management teamsServe as a primary point of contact for ZeroFox customers, internal teams, and partnersWork in a fast-paced, revenue-driven environmentProspect for new businessAttend industry and relevant technology eventsParticipate in industry conferences and actively support ZeroFox’s marketing and awareness effortsDevelop solid and trusting relationships between customers and ZeroFoxCoordinate and resolve key customer issues by leveraging the correct internal resourcesDevelop a comprehensive understanding of current and future account needsAnticipate account changes and improvements. Bring proposed changes to ZeroFox product management and engineering teamsManage communications between customers and internal teamsBe accountable for helping customers achieve their goals with the ZeroFox platformMeet all customer needs and deliverables according to proposed timelinesAct as a liaison between customer and internal business units to manage customer needsSoftware sales / account management experience selling to US Federal Government customers (cyber security preferred), typically obtained in 5+ yearsHistory of exceeding quotaKnowledge of Federal Civilianorganizations and key executive leadersAbility to operate independently as a sales rep and in conjunction with a remote sales engineerDemonstrated ability to uncover, qualify, develop, and close new accountsEstablished network in the Federal Civilian ecosystemAbility to manage all aspects of the sales cyclePersuasion and excellent negotiation and presentation skillsEffective communication with both technology-oriented and senior business executives at the C-levelExcellent time management skills, and work with high levels of autonomy and self-motivationSuperior verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present complex concepts in a clear, concise mannerDesired Qualifications and SkillsKnowledge and understanding of current and emerging cyber challenges on a global scale across multiple industriesUnderstanding of Federal Civilian strategic cyber priorities and plansSandler selling certification a plus!Community-driven culture with employee eventsGenerous time offComprehensive health benefits & 401(k) plan with employer matchTotal annual compensation $300,000(Base Salary + Commissions)Respectful and nourishing work environment, where every opinion is heard and everyone is encouraged to be an active part of the organizational cultureAbout usZeroFox is on a mission to make the internet safer for all.
