**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Student Recruitment Coordinator coordinates student recruiting and communicates with prospective students and their families regarding admissions requirements and opportunities at the College. The Coordinator projects an effective and consistent image of the College by working directly with high school, community college, and area colleges/universities to create partnerships in order to increase the number of prospective students.
**Responsibilities:** The Student Recruitment Coordinator will:
1. Organize and represent the RCoN, both virtual and face-to-face at outreach events held at middle schools, high schools, and colleges, and community settings.
1. Visit with individual students, and meet with school counselors and administrators to promote the College.
1. Maintain liaison activities and relationships with community college and four-year college counselors in Kansas City and targeted regions in Kansas and Missouri.
1. In collaboration with other staff, coordinate recruitment and marketing strategies, including website and printed materials, to meet recruitment goals.
1. Provide academic advising to potential students.
1. Coordinate College Days and campus visits.
1. Assist in the recruitment strategic planning, including seeking out new opportunities for development.
1. Prepare reports and proposals in support of recruitment goals.
1. Perform other duties as assigned.
