Job Description
Our production supervisor plays a key role in our operations. This role must organize and direct the production staff to achieve a constant satisfactory workflow per shipping needs. Must be able to communicate areas of material and supply needs and to monitor equipment functionality. Create an environment of cooperation and responsibility for quality products.
Production Supervisor Position Description:
· Develop production plans, schedules, and processes to meet demands.
· Optimizes production processes.
· Overseeing manufacturing operations.
· Resolving issues that may arise and communicate with Operations Manager/Owner.
· Monitoring productivity and quality of finished goods.
· Provides guidance and instructions clearly to a diverse range of employees.
· Ensuring a safe working environment.
· Lead, train, and supervise the production team.
· Managing equipment maintenance and oversee repairs.
· Collaborate to achieve cross-functional teams to complete production as needed.
· Help maintain inventories of raw materials, machinery parts replacement, floor supplies and finished goods.
· Supervise employees on a day-to-day basis and at times being the person in charge of operations.
· Managing paperwork flow daily.
· Able to use office equipment and software (eg: CPU, Fax, Scan, MSOffice Suite, shipper’s software and equipment, etc.)
· Forklift experience a plus as we sometimes need help with receiving and shipping on box trucks.

Work Environment:
While performing the requirements for this position you will be exposed to machinery and equipment that are moving. The plant is located in an underground commercial area. The raw material is a clean product of shingle material, we have glue machines and light industrial equipment.
