The Production Supervisor is a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production floor to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. This role requires proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to motivate teams, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop production personnel, ensuring effective team performance and alignment with production goals.
• Oversee all production processes, including metal cutting, machining, punching, assembly, and related activities.
• Manage production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders in line with quality standards.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety, and 5S standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure production equipment is properly serviced and operational.
• Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and ERP system updates related to production activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, and supply chain to resolve issues and meet customer commitments.
• Support training initiatives and ensure all production staff meet required skill and safety standards.

Travel Requirement
Minimal travel; role is primarily based on-site in the production facility.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership ability within a manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Infor Syteline preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of production processes.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing is required.
• Experience managing teams in a production setting, with proven success driving efficiency and performance.
