Production Supervisor

Location: Ocala, FL

Pay: $25.00/hour to start and then will transition to salary after successful evaluation period. Salary range between $60-75k depending on performance and experience

Shifts: 1st (6am–4pm), 2nd (2pm–12am), 3rd (10pm–8am) (Candidate must be able to work any shift but will primarily work on 2nd or 3rd shift and train for the first month on first shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, must be flexible for weekends and any shift

Start Date: Immediate upon interview or ASAP

Job Summary

As a Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and Production Manager to support team performance and meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of up to 40 production employees per shift.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met.
• Train and mentor team members on processes and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate records and reports using internal ADP timekeeping systems.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and team members.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing role.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment and being on your feet for long periods.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
• Must be flexible to work any shift and weekends as needed.

Additional Details

• Dress Code: Long pants, T-shirt, closed-toe shoes (No hoodies).
• Background Check: Required (No violent or sexual offenses).
• Drug Test: Not required.
• Evaluation Hire: There will be an evaluation period and then if successful permanently hired.
• Future Opportunity: Eligible for salary ($60K–$75K depending on performance and experience) and benefits upon successful hire.
