Willing to train and assist the right person with obtaining a Pharmacy Tech License.

Assists the Pharmacist by filling physician orders for medications for oral, rectal, topical and injectable use; mixes IV admixture solutions as required using aseptic technique in the Laminar Air Flow hood; type's labels, prepares and files charge slips and performs other related duties. Performs duties under the auspices of the Pharmacist's license.

Regulatory/Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Education in all age groups ranging from newborn to the geriatric population obtained either in school education, experience or subsequent training.
• Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
• Current BLS certification.

Language Skills:

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
