This position is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients, specimens, and medication, throughout the hospital as assigned. Essential Functions include transporting patients safely, timely, and efficiently, recognizing patient issues during transport, monitoring patient equipment, maintaining transport equipment, completing departmental records, adhering to hospital policies, demonstrating safe lifting and transport techniques, and communicating professionally with all hospital staff. The range of pay is between $15.70 and $18.57, based on experience. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
