This leadership role is responsible for setting performance standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement across nursing and multidisciplinary teams. The Nurse Manager will serve as a key decision-maker, mentor, and resource, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence in patient care. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction for all nursing quality improvement initiatives. Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Oversee occurrence reviews, complaint investigations, and corrective action planning. Manage benchmarking activities with national nursing quality databases. Guide, mentor, and hold staff accountable for achieving performance improvement goals. Identify systemic issues and implement solutions to promote sustainable change. Collaborate with executive leadership to align departmental goals with organizational strategy. Qualifications Current NYS RN License. BSN required; Master’s degree strongly preferred. Minimum of 3 years of progressive clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting, including leadership responsibilities. Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based practice, project management, and change management.
