Location: Ashburn, VA (Hybrid – 2 onsite days/week) Citizenship: U.S. Citizen (CBP Background Investigation required) Security Clearance: DoD TS or DHS Full BI Employment Type: Full‑time, Mid‑Senior level Responsibilities Collaborate through all phases of the software development lifecycle—scope, design, coding, unit testing, and delivery. Architect, build, and enhance highly available, scalable, real‑time mobile systems for DHS/CBP. Exercise judgment in recommending best designs based on business objectives, timelines, and resource constraints. Lead major deliverables, including architecture design, coding, unit testing, and estimation. Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and preventive measures for application issues. Required Qualifications BS/BA degree and 8+ years of relevant experience (or master’s with 6+ years; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree). 5+ years in Android/iOS mobile development. Experience in front‑end mobile and back‑end RESTful API development. Proficiency in Java, Node‑JS, and both NoSQL and SQL databases. Strong application testing discipline. Experience with Flutter engine, Dart, Android, iOS frameworks. Excellent problem‑solving, creative thinking, and communication skills. Knowledge of Postgres, Spring Boot, SQL, Kafka, MySQL, Struts, Hibernate, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular/React. Experience with issue tracking systems (Jira) and Agile practices. Experience with DevOps frameworks. U.S. Citizen; CBP Background Investigation required. Desired Qualifications Active CBP BI. Experience with CBP. AWS experience.
