Summary

The Marketing Executive (Community Service Internship) will play a vital role in enhancing the academy's visibility and community engagement. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and communications within a non-profit educational setting. The intern will support the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the academy's programs and initiatives, while also contributing to community outreach efforts.

Duties

Social Media Management:

• Create engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
• Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content performance.
• Interact with online communities and respond to inquiries.

Content Creation:

• Assist in developing marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and website content.
• Write compelling stories and testimonials highlighting the academy's impact.
• Take photos and videos of academy events and activities.

Community Outreach:

• Support the planning and execution of community events and outreach initiatives.

 
Marketing Support:

• Conduct market research to identify target audiences and marketing opportunities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
• Maintain and update the academy's website and marketing databases.
• Assist in the creation of press releases and other media related content.

 

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled as a student in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university.
• Strong interest in marketing, communications, and non-profit work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Creativity and a passion for storytelling.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with basic graphic design principles and applications is a plus.
