Responsibilities: Execute communications projects, tasks, and deliverables to support KPMG Law US's reputation management and communications strategy Assist the Director of Communications for KPMG Law US with day-to-day media relations activities, including drafting pitches, developing media lists, and coordinating interview logistics Draft and edit communications materials including press releases, talking points, Q&As, newsletters, and internal announcements and help monitor media coverage and prepare metrics reports for KPMG Law US leadership Support the creation of thought leadership content, including blog posts, articles, and social media content, and assist with planning and coordination of KPMG Law US events and speaking opportunities; support the development and growth of the KPMG Law US LinkedIn channel and its leaders Draft internal communications to engage KPMG Law US employees and foster organizational culture Track news and trends in the legal services industry to inform communications activities and support crisis and issues management as needed Qualifications: Minimum five years of recent experience working in communications, preferably with experience in legal or professional services Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Comfortable working with senior leaders on the team and across the firm in a high-performing, fast-paced environment; strong track record as a collaborator, multi-tasker, forward thinker, and self-starter, who exercises independent judgment and discretion Experience supporting communications for new business initiatives or market entries Understanding of the legal services market and/or professional services industry dynamics Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills; excellent attention to detail and creative thinking; media relations experience including developing media lists and drafting pitch materials Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
