JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate office nurse to join our busy pediatric healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential nursing care in an office setting, ensuring the well-being of patients while supporting the overall operations of our practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate excellent communication skills, with a focus on patient education and advocacy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct patient assessments and document medical histories accurately.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist in diagnostic evaluations and specimen collection processing.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to document vaccines given, plot height, weigh, and BMI etc.
• Participate in and maintain a clean, organized work environment as well as keeping patient exam rooms clean and stocked with appropriate medical supplies.

EXPERIENCE
Candidates must be motivated, dependable, and willing to multi-task on a daily basis.
