About the Role:

As a logistics broker for Carrier Connect you will be responsible for managing and growing your book of business. Your primary responsibility will be to negotiate contracts and rates, ensuring that both parties achieve their logistical goals efficiently and cost-effectively. You will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions. With over 50 years of combined logistics experience Carrier Connect is looking to provide a stable environment for growing brokers as well as plenty of market knowledge to better navigate our future in this industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with logistics software and tools. (Excel & TMS's)
• Proven experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or a similar role.
• Experience running a book of business
• Lead Generation
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow; must be able to be coached.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and shippers to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Monitor shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during the transportation process.
• Analyze market trends and data to optimize routing and shipping strategies.

Commission/Compensation:

• Paid 90-day training (If needed)
• Uncapped commission
• Full benefits after 90 days.
