HeartCentrix Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Dialysis for a local contract nursing job in New Bern, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 12 hours
• Employment Type: Local Contract

WORK SCHEDULE: Shifts may vary between 3x12hr or 4x10hr.

Responsibilities
-Utilize the nursing process in the provision of patient care
-Administer medications and treatments in compliance with physicians’ orders and hospital policies
-Interpret diagnostic tests and formulate plans of care
-Collaborate with other healthcare providers
-Provide education to patients and family members while maintaining HIPAA compliance
-Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients across all age groups
-Apply principles of growth and development through the life span to assess patient status and determine age-appropriate care needs
-Document and chart observations, patient activities, and clinical conditions accurately
-Communicate reports to appropriate healthcare staff in accordance with facility policies
-Perform all required and related duties to support patient care and clinical operations

Physical Requirements
-May be required to reposition or assist patients
-Lift supplies and place equipment on supports
-Push beds or chairs throughout the facility
-Bend and maneuver within the facility in response to emergencies
-Use visual and auditory skills to interpret environmental input
-In the event of an evacuation, lift and assist patients
