$17.00-$22.00 per hour

Temp to Hire

Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Grandview, Ohio (onsite)

This Legal Assistant position plays a vital front-line role in client communication and coordination. You'll be the first point of contact for potential and current clients, handling inbound calls, performing client intake, and supporting the legal team with administrative tasks.

What you’ll be doing:

• Answer and route incoming phone calls with professionalism and care
• Perform new client intake, clearly explaining services and gathering required information
• Deliver excellent customer service to all clients, both over the phone, via email, and in person
• Support attorneys and paralegals with administrative duties such as document prep, scheduling, data entry, and file management
• Accurately enter and maintain client data in our legal software system (Clio)
• Help manage workflow for client onboarding and ensure follow-up steps are completed
• Notarize documents (we can help you get certified if needed)
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the legal services offered by our firm to guide clients appropriately

Who we’re looking for:

• Experience coordinating communication across multiple channels and people
• Ability to multitask and work quickly but accurately
• Strong communication skills via email, phone, video, and in-person
• High level of attention to details such as document formatting, grammar, spelling, and numerical sequences
• Prior experience with legal software like Clio is a plus
• Notary commission is a bonus (or willingness to become one)
