Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Manager / Property Owner
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to perform a variety of cleaning duties. The ideal candidate will ensure all rooms and common areas are clean, orderly, and properly maintained to create a clean and welcoming environment for guests, or customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, hallways, and common spaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures.
Replace linens, towels, and other supplies as needed.
Make beds and change linens regularly.
Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and floors.
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
Replenish toiletries and cleaning supplies.
Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or needed repairs to supervisors.
Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Handle and care for cleaning equipment and products properly.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with guests, residents, or coworkers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks (bending, lifting, standing for long periods).
Basic knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling procedures.
Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
Trustworthy, reliable, and respectful of privacy.
Work Environment:
Working hours may include weekends, evenings, and holidays depending on the role.
