Job Description
PCJ Group is seeking a full-time Retail Manager/Project Manager for our New York City location. The ideal candidate would help the company locate the perfect location to establish our store (Neighborhood like downtown, 5th Ave, Park Avenue, Soho, Tribeca, Lower East Side, Upper East Side, Madison Ave, Wall Street, Broadway, West Village), negotiate the lease agreement, and meet with the architect who will take on the responsibility to renovate the place, and the interior decorator who will set the tone for the store's ambiance and interior aspect, as well as many amenities to be featured.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for hiring the store's employees (Full-time and part-time) and supervising their work daily, ensuring that everyone's pay is processed every month, and that all employees receive the company's allocated benefits, reimbursing pre-approved expenses every month, and negotiate with different model agencies to wear our designs during daily cat walk to be featured at the store.
During the period of searching for the perfect site, the chosen candidate will be paid a fixed rate of $150 per week, to be paid directly to the employee for no more than 15 hours of remote work. However, when the lease has been signed and major work begins, such as interviewing employees, checking out what the architect and interior decorator are doing, making sure the store is linked with a local 3-pl service, communicating with the manufacturer to ensure delivery of inventory, water supply, and electricity, as well as internet service, and telephone service have been subscribed, employee's salary will be $5200 a month before taxes. The Project Manager will also be responsible for signing up for a sales tax number to be linked to that store. Project Manager is expected to earn a quarterly bonus in an amount no less than $2000 or $8,000 a year.
