Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine project requirements
• Estimate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment needed for construction projects
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop accurate cost estimates
• Prepare detailed and comprehensive bid proposals for potential clients
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget
• Review and analyze change orders and provide cost impact assessments
• Utilize construction management software.

Requirements:

• Experience estimating in a relevant field
• Proven experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of cost control principles
• Knowledge of construction management and project management processes
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in using estimating software and tools
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
