Loveland Senior Center Hospitality Escort And Driver

This position will serve as a hospitality escort and driver for special events and day trips for the Senior Center. The salary range for this position is $13.65- $18.43 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. The position will remain open until filled.

Essential job functions include meeting with the Recreation Coordinator to review itineraries, providing guest services to seniors as a hospitality escort, operating a motor vehicle including an 11-passenger van, and providing on-site supervision for the day. Other duties include assisting with miscellaneous duties related to the day trips or other special events.

Other job functions include other duties as assigned.

Job qualifications include knowledge, skills, and abilities such as previous experience working with senior citizens and knowledge of senior activity programming, ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people, CPR and First Aid certification, and a valid driver's license. Education and/or formal training in recreation, education, or a related field is preferred but not required. Experience may be substituted for educational preference.

Material and equipment directly used include a vehicle (11 passenger van), AED, copier, telephone, and kitchen equipment including microwave, dishwasher, and range.

The working environment and physical activities include performing duties in several different locations, both inside and outside environments, driving in differing weather conditions, and being exposed to dirt and sand. The employee is required to bend, push, pull, stoop, kneel, carry, and lift equipment to perform the essential functions of the job.

Non-benefit eligible benefits package includes: retirement 457 employee funded plan, and medical leave up to 48 hours accrued. Accrue 1 hour of leave per 30 hours worked.
