About the Role: Perform assembly and disassembly of various engines and their assemblies, accessory units , and driven equipment . Build complete engines and driven equipment prior to and after testing. Perform overhaul of engines, packages, and assemblies. Perform balancing of rotating parts and assemblies.
What You Will Do: \n - Assemble, tear down, reassemble, and rework complete engines, assemblies, subassemblies, accessory units, and driven equipment
\n - Utilizing a working knowledge of turbomachinery products and working from operational paper, blueprints, written and/or oral instructions, or photographs
\n - Disassemble and rebuild any Solar or customer turbomachinery product
\n - Balance a variety of parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to Solar standards
\n - Change accessible filters and lubricate own machine tools as required

What You Have: \n - High School diploma, GED or equivalent
\n - Minimum 1 year of experience using power tools and other equipment to perform troubleshooting, repair, and installation
\n - Understanding of engineering schematics and blueprints
\n - Experience using general repair tools and equipment
\n - Ability to work overtime as needed
\n - Must be willing to work any shift
\n

Preferred Qualifications: - 3-5 years of mechanical experience on Turbine equipment, installation, repair, and maintenance.

Summary Pay Range: $23.00 - $39.86
Compensation and benefits may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market, location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.
