Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field from an Early Intervention approved college/ university program
• Illinois Early Intervention (EI) Credential or actively in the process of obtaining (we can assist)
• Experience working with children from birth to 3 years old, especially those with developmental delays
• Strong understanding of developmental milestones and early childhood development

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized developmental therapy services to infants and toddlers (birth to 3) in their natural environments (home or daycare)
• Conduct initial evaluations/assessments, six-month reviews, and discharge summaries in compliance with Early Intervention requirements
• Collaborate with families to develop and implement home education programs that support child development
• Follow and implement goals outlined in each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
• Design and adapt curriculum-based activities tailored to each child's developmental goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with agency policies and all applicable State and Federal regulations
• Communicate regularly with the child’s Early Intervention team, including service coordinators and other therapists, to support a collaborative approach to care

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual – Spanish-speaking highly desirable
• Familiarity with Early Intervention practices
