Now Hiring: Compliance Program Manager - CRA Focus | Chicago, IL (Hybrid/On-site) Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for regulatory excellence and community impact? Join a respected community bank as a Compliance Program Manager, where you'll lead the execution and oversight of Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) programs across multiple bank charters. This is a high-impact role that combines regulatory expertise with cross-functional collaboration and leadership visibility. Why This Role Matters: You'll be at the forefront of ensuring regulatory readiness, guiding CRA exam preparation, and aligning compliance efforts with broader business goals. Your work will directly influence how the bank serves its communities and meets its obligations with integrity and precision. What You'll Do: Lead and coordinate CRA exams across 5-6 bank charters annually Review documentation to identify gaps in CRA performance and ensure exam readiness Draft clear, examiner-ready reports and documentation Serve as a professional liaison with regulators during CRA exams Coach local teams on compliance best practices and exam preparation Collaborate with CRA data analytics and program management teams Align CRA activities with broader compliance and business strategies Stay current on regulatory changes and CRA compliance trends What You Bring: Proven experience in CRA compliance within banking or regulatory agencies Strong understanding of banking operations and cross-departmental compliance integration Exceptional writing and communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior leadership and regulators Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends Experience in a multi-charter or community banking environment is highly preferred Tools You'll Use: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint are key) CRA experience is a major plus What Sets You Apart: Meticulous, strategic, and thrive in a collaborative environment Bring clarity to complex regulatory requirements Passionate about community impact and regulatory excellence Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year.
