We are looking for motivated Cloud Software Engineers to support cloud software research, development, and engineering services including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, testing, and issue resolution. Requirements A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics is highly desired. Hadoop / Cloud Developer Certification or comparable Cloud System/Service Certification is required. Skills/Experience Experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution. Proficiency with high-level languages such as Java, C, C++. Experience with Open Source (NoSQL) products like HBase, Accumulo, Big Table. Experience with MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, Pig. Experience with HDFS, JSON/BSON serialization, developing Restful services, Linux, and object-oriented design. Experience with integrating and extending FOSS/COTS products, testing, and technical documentation. Experience in at least four of the desired skill areas, including deploying applications in cloud environments and data analytics. Desired Skills/Experience Understanding of Big Data cloud scalability (Amazon, Google, Facebook). Experience with automated analytics, multimedia technologies, AI, and social network analytics. Knowledge of ontologies, data models, schemas, and technical documentation. Experience deploying applications in heterogeneous schema environments.
