Location: East White Plains, NY.

Days: Monday, Thursday and Friday (Monday: Dinner, Tuesday/Wed: OFF we stay in the city - don’t need any prepped food unless it travels well. Thursday: Prep day and dinner, Friday: Dinner/batch prep for weekend, Sat/Sun: OFF . Shop and clean up).

Hours: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM.

Compensation: $30 to $100 per hour.

A family in White Plains, NY is looking for an experienced chef to prepare and serve fresh, high-quality meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The ideal candidate will handle meal prep, clean-up, and kitchen maintenance, including keeping the refrigerator organized. Responsibilities also include grocery shopping and menu planning tailored to the family’s preferences. The chef should be dependable, organized, and passionate about creating delicious and nutritious meals.

Main Work Duties:

• Menu planning tailored to dietary preferences and restrictions.
• Preparing daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks).
• Presentation and plating of all meals.
• Procuring high-quality, often organic or specialty ingredients.
• Managing food budgets and receipts.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen and pantry.
• Inventory and stock management.
• Ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of chef experience in a private home.
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
