About the client: Our client is an independent person in the early stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia. She lives at home and enjoys maintaining her routines with the help of caring, consistent caregivers. She is active, communicative, and values her independence, though she benefits from gentle reminders and clear direction throughout the day and night. Ideal caregiver: A compassionate, patient, mature-self starting individual who enjoys meaningful conversation, values structure, and can provide a calm and friendly presence. Must be comfortable with dementia care and respectful of the client’s independence and preferences while still providing necessary care and oversight.
