Are you passionate about functional design and working closely with customers to bring critical vehicles to life? We're looking for a Detail-Oriented Emergency Vehicle Layout Designer to join our team in creating safe, efficient, and fully customized fire and emergency vehicle compartment layouts.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate directly with customers, Customer Account Specialists, engineers, and installers to design vehicle layouts that maximize equipment storage, safety, and functionality .
• Lead pre-construction meetings to gather specifications and equipment requirements.
• Create accurate and visually clear layout sketches used for estimating costs, build times, and customer approval.
• Translate customer requirements into custom equipment mounting designs that meet industry standards.
• Work cross-functionally with departments including engineering, fabrication, assembly, and sales to ensure designs are executed as planned.
• Maintain strong communication and relationships with both internal teams and external clients.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in vehicle layout design , mechanical design, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of 3D modeling or CAD software (preferred).
• Ability to interpret customer needs and translate them into functional, attractive layouts .
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of fire & emergency vehicle components or equipment mounting is a plus.
