Description:

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating equipment to manufacture corrugated boxes in line with customer specifications. The role ensures product quality, workplace safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret work orders to set up and adjust machinery (e.g., ABM, die cutter, gluer).
• Operate equipment to produce corrugated items, monitoring for defects and making adjustments as needed.
• Inspect and verify product quality and compliance with customer requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and work areas to ensure safe operations.
• Handle materials and finished products using forklifts and pallet jacks; maintain forklift certification.
• Package, label, and stage products for shipment; assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and shipping records using software tools (e.g., Excel, SAGE).
• Participate in inventory counts, report discrepancies or damages, and support warehouse organization.
• Communicate professionally with team members, support a collaborative work environment, and follow company policies.
• Identify and contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Experience:
  Previous machine operation experience required; corrugated machinery experience preferred.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Skilled in using measuring tools (e.g., tape measure, calipers) and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
• Communication Skills:
  Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English; capable of resolving complaints using sound judgment and analytical thinking.
• Administrative & Organizational Skills:
  Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and familiarity with clerical procedures such as file management and word processing.
• Teamwork & Independence:
  Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team; follows instructions and manages tasks efficiently.
• Professionalism:
  Maintains a professional appearance and demonstrates integrity, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction
