Digital Inventory Analyst – NBCUniversal As a Digital Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for processing inventory‑related requests for NBC Sports properties, determining inventory availability and usage patterns, and coordinating with the Planning team in a fast‑paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities Track and report on digital media inventory across Peacock and NBCSports digital properties – Sports include NFL, Golf, NBA, B1G & ND Football, College Basketball, NASCAR, Premier League, US Soccer, Chivas, and other tentpole sports (Olympics, World Cup, etc). Forecast and allocate Video and Display advertising inventory for the NBCU Digital Portfolio across all platforms using tools such as FreeWheel and Google Ad Manager. Collaborate with National Sales Planners on on‑request inventory avails, and provide final sign‑off on media plans, emphasizing Demo Guaranteed and Advanced Audience Targeted buys. Manage effects of programming and campaign changes, and coordinate shifts through the systems approval queue. Work with Ops and Planning to optimize yield and provide input/solutions for campaigns at risk. Liaise with internal departments such as Planning, Sales, Operations, Programming, Distribution, Products, Research, Data Insights, and Marketing. Maintain and manage routine and ad‑hoc reports for Sales and Planning. Provide project‑based work (systems and process improvement) to support department directors and VP. Attend routine meetings with the manager to discuss pending issues, resolve problems, and forecast inventory. Assist with trainings and presentations for inventory, planning, or other collaborative teams. Stay informed about industry news via trade publications to strengthen knowledge of Ad Sales and related sports properties. Qualifications Four‑year degree or equivalent experience. 1+ year experience as a Sales Planner, Analyst, or Digital Service Representative in Media Ad Sales. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced, deadline‑driven media environment. Expert understanding of media math. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Eligibility Requirements Submit resume/CV through Willingness to travel, work overtime, and work weekends on short notice. Willingness to work in New York, NY on a hybrid basis. Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. Must be 18 years or older. Desired Characteristics Career interest in strategic planning; sports experience is a plus. Excellent computer skills with proven analytical ability and organizational/project management skills. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (Intermediate). Knowledge of Operative.One or similar order‑management system, Freewheel, Google Ad Manager, or Nielsen DAR. Proven ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to negotiate effectively with all organizational levels (customer‑service oriented). Additional Requirements Hybrid: This position is designated as hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
